Patient, condition when a person to able stay in calm in difficult situation . A one tense I see that is- You can be patient, because patient is an adjective. You can have patience , because patience is a noun.

Or,

Patient meaning who person have medical care or treatment , under the doctor .

when you visit a patient in hospital first you ensure the permission for meet the patient before visiting. And when you visit do hand wash or sanitize your hand and bring the balloons and flower as the symbol of best wishes .Meet with very precautions and carefully.
