*Song Fiction- Shayad*

Falling in one-sided love is like taking a puff of a cigarette or drinking a sip of alcohol. The more you keep drinking, the more you get addicted. Similar is the case with one-sided love. The more you get just a glimpse of that person, the more you find yourself falling deeper and deeper for them while they don’t even know about your existence. They are unaware of what you go through each day while they are busy doing their own work without having a slightest idea of how much their looks have drowned you into them that you are unable to come out from them.

There are times when you can't confess what you feel for the other person and you wish it would be easy if the other person could just read your eyes and figure out what you have been trying to tell them for a very long time. You want them to read your thoughts and try to understand what you feel each time you meet them or hear their voice. You want a day to come when things change and you want them to feel what you feel for them and just for once give them the satisfaction of loving them even though it’s happening in an alternate universe but even that false satisfaction will give them a bit of relief for a lifetime.

As time passes and your love for them keeps growing deeper, you have one wish that they become yours till time stops and that both of you spend a lifetime in each other’s arms while you sit by the window and tell them how much you love them for the person they are in front of them. You want all your dreams which include both of you to get fulfilled magically. There comes a day when you want the time and the world to just stop until and unless you don’t get what you want from the bottom of your heart. You just want them to be around you while the sun rises and or the sun sets after having met its lover(the moon) for one last time. You start imagining yourself to be breathing as they continue breathing.

Getting a glimpse of them on a new day is like taking a single puff of a cigarette for someone addicted to smoking. If you don’t get a glimpse of them throughout the day, you find it difficult to breathe or even spend time doing your household chores. Your love for them becomes so strong that without them, you find it impossible to do the tasks you once could do in their absence.

Loving someone is addictive ; the deeper you find yourself falling in their love, the more difficult it is to spend a day without hearing their voice or seeing their beautiful face. Each day or each hour that you spend apart from them, you and each part of your heart just craves for their presence. You want them to do each and every activity near you while you sit silently embracing their warm presence.
