Oh you who cause my heart to sing

Oh you who cause my heart to sing
with all the joys you daily bring,
how not to speak my mind and say
with not a word you make my day.

From morn till night you stir my soul
with all the wonders you extol,
evoked in me a love so grand
that I must think it heaven planned.

An angel, then, is what you are
perceived as well my lucky star
that shines on me and proffers love
for which I thank my God above.

In every moment, in every thought,
your essence in my heart is wrought,
a treasure that I hold so dear,
a love that's true and always near.

And though the world may turn and spin,
my heart will stay with you within,
for nothing else can bring such bliss
as your sweet love, your gentle kiss.

So let me speak it loud and clear,
for all the world to see and hear,
that you, my love, are everything,
and to your heart my soul will cling.
