Respect

How far one can dream, especially a girl. Quite often this question has tortured my mind. But sometimes being helpless I just try to forget. The single reason could be the family one is born to. Even though the parents may be willing to take her to heights, they have got a lot of expectations over her and when she never goes along that path she is criticized, mocked. She is downtrodden to a sewage or a waste may be. Thats how the words they use on her. Why are people on her like this. I think that such words even won't give her an identity either. She could feel bad about her. It could be more worse when she would be compared with others and parents force on her to score like them, then only her life would be secured and safe. And that money which rules her. It could satisfy her personal needs may be a book or a clothing or even a footwear. She should have enough with her. Or else if it is a need her parents will give her.

Even sometimes she feels to purchase her favorite novel from an online site it's all the great struggle that pull her back from choosing her own space.Break off the glass ceiling. Then they  Call you Brave Girls. Your courage is your biggest strength, never fear anyone's criticism because you are your biggest strength you are your biggest trust.

Feminism isn't about making woman strong. Woman are already strong. It is about changing the way the world perceive that strength". Why are these people taking feminism in the wrong sense. Feminism is nothing about hating men or wearing exposed dresses and cutting down your hair like a boy cut. It means that women are also a part of the society. They too are human with feelings and emotions. They too have desires.

Since ages women remains the same. When you just try to walk around the streets of a kerala village where patriarchy is at its peak, you can never see a women outside the house after six in the evening. It's said that it's dangerous. In the towns and cities it's a common news for the people. RESPECT IS EQUAL FOR ALL. SELF RESPECT IS MOST IMPORTANT THAN ANYTHING ELSE.

There are some misconceptions in the society that girls are like this and boys are the other way. If we have grandads at home they might be of an older generation who is like a lord of the house. they sometimes takes chance to mock their grand children. They quite often speak ill on the generation that we are too lazy, full time in front of the phone and all the more judge on our habits, our dressing habits hand our hairstyle. Above all if we fall ill, again the blame on us. They keep on blabbering along with our parents that we are unhygienic and unclean.

After all these blabbering they don't even respect our self. and if we go against their so called disciplined lifestyle then we are not respecting elders. they don't sometimes prefer us like we are but rather than what they expect from us.

Respect is equal for all be it a celebrity or a common man. it's wrong to judge a person without really knowing who he is. as the saying goes "DON'T JUDGE A BOOK BY ITS COVER"
