Nurturing the Innocence

In the world of today, where innocence dwells,

Children, treasures pure, where God's grace swells.

With unsullied hearts and love in their gaze,

Why harm them with words, a hurtful haze?

Who would intentionally cause them dismay,

Or seek their souls with harshness to betray?

Their tender heart, delicate and rare,

Deserve our utmost care, love's gentle repair.

Let kindness be the tongue we express,

Counseled by understanding, to bless.

In strengthening embrace, let joy arise,

Their fragile hearts forever love's prize.

For children shine as beacons, pure and bright,

Their innocence shielded both day and night.
