Mahabharat

In ancient times, in a land far away,

The story of Mahabharat did play.

A tale of war and love and fate,

Of heroes and villains, both great.

It all began with two brothers, you see,

Pandu and Dhritarashtra, as different as can be.

One was a warrior, strong and brave,

The other blind, but wise and grave.

Pandu had five sons, the Pandavas they were known,

Yudhishthira, Bhima, Arjuna, Nakula and Sahadeva shone.

But Dhritarashtra's hundred sons, the Kauravas, were filled with hate,

And thus began a feud that sealed their fate.

The Pandavas were exiled to the forest,

But they returned with strength and knowledge that was best.

They challenged the Kauravas to a game of dice,

But it was a trap, and they paid a heavy price.

Yudhishthira lost everything he owned,

Even his wife Draupadi was disowned.

She was dragged into the court, her honor at stake,

But Krishna saved her with a miracle so great.

The war was inevitable, the armies did clash,

Arjuna was torn between duty and love, his heart did thrash.

Krishna became his charioteer and guide,

And taught him the lessons of life that could not be denied.

The battle was fierce, bloodshed everywhere,

Heroes fell on both sides, it was a nightmare.

But in the end, the Pandavas emerged victorious,

And the Kauravas were defeated and notorious.

The Mahabharat is not just a story of war,

It's a tale of love, sacrifice, and more.

It teaches us about dharma and karma,

And how to rise above the drama.

The characters are not just black or white,

They are complex, with shades of light.

Even the villains have their own story to tell,

And in them, we can find lessons as well.

So let us learn from this epic tale,

And strive to live our lives without fail.

Let us follow the path of righteousness,

And make this world a place of happiness.
