POETS AND PANCAKES

In a world where words take flight on wings,
Poets gather 'round to sing,
Their pens dance upon the page,
Crafting tales, an endless stage.
With metaphors as vibrant as dawn's embrace,
They spin their tales in a wondrous chase,
Imagination, a river that endlessly flows,
Through valleys of stanzas, where creativity grows.
Amidst this sea of words they stand,
A tribe of dreamers, a noble band,
They stir emotions, paint the skies,
In the canvas of verses, where truth never lies.
And when the moon whispers its lullaby,
Poets seek a haven, 'neath starlit sky,
Where ink meets parchment in the silent night,
Creating worlds, both dark and light.
With laughter shared and stories told,
Pancakes flipped, a tradition old,
A moment of respite, a chance to feast,
Before returning to words, the poet's least.
So let us celebrate these souls,
Whose words ignite and make us whole,
Poets and pancakes, a timeless pair,
In their enchanting realms, we find solace rare.
