In life, we hold expectations high,

As dreams take shape against the sky.

We hope for love and laughter's song,

And moments where we all belong.

We seek success, both near and far,

To reach our goals, to touch a star.

But life, it dances to its tune,

Sometimes, it grants, and other times, it's a monsoon.

Expectations, like a guiding light,

Can lead us through the darkest night.

But when they fall, as they often do,

Resilience helps us start anew.

So, let's embrace what life may bring,

The highs, the lows, the everything.

For expectations, though they may wane,

Can't dim the beauty of life's terrain.
