Moral life

Honesty is the best policy, knowledge of book.

Recited like a parrot , learnt by heart and mind.

Practice makes perfect , moulded by clay into honesty look.

Life moves directionless, unplanned , and nothing planned on paper signed.

In small shoes, done a theft , gave my word.

Wet eyes faced the hell, nodded on punishment.

Accepted the consequences but saved by honesty and honest words.

Impressed by moral , edged by honesty sharpness but change has made it blunt.

Police caught a theif with silver rose in hands.

Standing at front door , police asking simple questions.

Thief in torn clothes , dark eyes pleading to be heard.

I remember a somber news from somewhere a family starved.

He was the family head, shivering from toe to head.

Wife soul said goodbye , kids in hospital fighting their own battle.

No hope , no food , no money , he stole only to pay the bills & for last rites.

Hour of seeking at my door , life is full of perplexed times.

Police inquiry on report, asking for yes or no.

If I say don't report , chose no but honesty dies.

If I say I proceed , honesty wins and small twin flame in hospital extinguish.

What to chose , what to do , please tell ne God , have no clue.

Lost in sleepy thought of this dilemma.

Honesty is best policy , I have known.

My brain says yes , but my heart of humanity whispers no

Humanity the best policy, telling my instinct.

Close my eyes , think on whispers removes all doubt.

Hands on heart , follow the soul and I chose no.

Honesty is the best policy.

Humanity , I chose , humans I finally chose.

Said no to report , gave him spare change and tonight case end.

Tears of relief and he falls down , singing the song of forgiveness.

With humanity arise , he got a new life and gave his word that

He will not do it , he will repent. Change of heart, character change , humanity policy won.
