POEM - 'MEMORIES ON THE PAST'
In the recesses of the mind, memories reside,
Echoes of the past, where emotions abide.
Like pages of a book, turned by time's gentle hand,
Each memory a chapter, in life's grand strand.
In the labyrinth of remembrance, we wander and roam,
Revisiting moments, like waves on the foam.
From laughter to tears, each memory unfolds,
A tapestry of emotions, in colors bold.
The sweet scent of nostalgia, in the air
Takes us back to moments, beyond compare.
From childhood joys to youthful dreams,
Each memory a treasure, or so it seems.
Yet amidst the reverie, there lies a bittersweet truth,
For memories, like shadows, fade with youth.
Though time may dim their brilliance, they never truly part
For in the depths of our souls, they eternally chart.
So let us cherish each memory, both joyous and blue,
For they are the threads that bind me to you.
In the tapestry of life, they weave a tale so vast,
A symphony of moments, a memory on the past.
