Lekhny Story -17-May-2024

In a world of blue and green, Where nature's splendor can be seen, Plastic whispers through the breeze, Asking for a final, gentle release.

Once a marvel, light and strong, Now a symbol of what's gone wrong, It chokes the seas and mars the land, A curse borne from human hand.

In oceans deep, where whales sing low, Plastic drifts in endless flow, Entangled lives in ghostly nets, A fate that nature won't forget.

Forests lush with vibrant hue, Bear witness to the toxic brew, Plastic shards in every stream, A broken, contaminated dream.

Should we ban this fleeting foe, Let it be and let it go? With careful thought and steely will, We can seek a future still.

Renew the Earth with wiser ways, Reduce, reuse, reshape our days, For plastic's time must surely end, If we our world wish to defend.

So let us choose the greener path, And spare the Earth from plastic's wrath, A pledge to honor sky and sea, To live in true harmony.
