Natalia Alberto is a goan girl living in Candolim. She is tall, wheatish skinned with curly hairs that add beauty to her personality. She is very kind and friendly in nature. She lives with her parents. Her father Martin Alberto is an entrepreneur and her mother Julia Fernandez owns a bakery. Just like her mother Natalia also loves baking. She helps her mother at the bakery after she returns from her college. She is fond of chocolate flavor. Mint-Chocolate cup cake is her expertise. Besides baking, reading books, writing poems and quotes, listening to music blows her mind.
In her everyday rituals she visits church every evening and then heads on to the beach. Gazing the magnificent ocean makes her feel alive and free. She sits by the shore with a book in her hands or sometimes with a pen and her diary. Best of her creations are penned besides the waves. She gets inspired by, how the ocean can remain calm and quite without any pride even being so huge and vast. How to wield power is the best lesson Natalia has learnt from the ocean. Their bond has become so strong day by day that when she is unable to go to the shore she feels restless and unmoored. When she is low, a small pep talk with the ocean brings her smile back.
On one monday evening she left for the church. Then she walked down the road towards the ocean. She carried her diary with a toffee in her mouth. The shore was deserted. She was the only one wandering. She removed her slippers and sat down. She was very upset. Her heart was drenched with sorrow. She kept on thinking of words said by her teacher. “Natalia you are of no use”, these words made her more concerned and depressed. Shedding tears she grabbed the pen and started writing. She kept jotting down until all her heart was empty. As soon as she started reading, she realized that she has created a masterpiece.
The poem got her recognition, laurels and opened infinite doors to her dreams. She became an inspiration to a lot of people fighting depression. Though the feelings were hers but the ocean brought her words with every crashing wave. She knew that all the confidence and strength was the gift by her dear friend ocean that she acquired. Since then they are inseparable.
