External beauty does not lasts forever

External beauty does not lasts forever

Have gazed at stunning, captivating faces,
Deep dark magical eyes which intrigue our senses,
Two, naughty dimples which make us skip what we think,
Flawless, gleaming skin to which the eyes gape without a blink.

With so much charm around, I marveled at the superiority of Almighty,
Always prayed that I amassed all
 that quality,
Moaned a lot at my frailties before my granny,
As she was the only solace to my slaying agony.

She hugged and kissed me, saying that I was a thrill,
In her sight, no one could stand next to my charm,
She explained that all the external beauty would fade one day,
Only inner beauty would glow and spark till Doomsday.

She advised me to add tangibility to my tongue,
A broad and graceful smile to my lips,
Generosity and compassion to my eyes,
A touch of affection to my skin would make me a princess.

She explained that these virtues would make me eternally fascinating,
Every person would love me irrespective of my shortcoming,
For external beauty lies in the eyes of a beholder,
But inner beauty is attractive to every individual.
