A LETTER TO MY 16 YEARS OLD SON

DEAR SON,

You invigorate my life and illuminate our emotions like a candle ,

You bestow love and cheer while you paddle.

For a journey towards the righteous paths,

While you would be quite humble and always move forward.

Your endeavours should be based on hard work and you must parade,

To reach your destination;

Through proper analysis of different routes and you invade.

The bell rings in the temple of your thoughts ,

As you read books remember the moralities;

That I instilled in you so far with vitality.

Whenever it is favourable always help the needy;

And also to the poor in a confidentiality ,

Uplift your strength to share your shoulder ;

To those who are deprived and require a hand and strive.

Like a noble personality you would barge,

Into their lives like a gallant or knight.

Life is indeed not a bed of roses;

You will realise this as you step outside from this shell with your poems and proses.

Where your mind should be without fear and head held high.

Where you will work with benevolence and divinity in your stride.

Your wisdom and intellect might rise high,

As you enter in your sixteenth birthday in an endeavour to reach the sky.

I strongly believe that you would make me proud ,

With your achievements, good wisdom and virtues like a stroud.

Our love for you is beyond any measure,

Chase your dreams and make them true like a rainbow in several colours.
