Dream by Srija Sadhukhan

Dreams

There was the alarm clock
Which my sweet sleep did block,
It handled my brand new day
As it was the month of May.
Passionate I was dreaming
When reality came hounding,
When mornings was sweltering but never gay
My body longed for the bed to lay.

To drag me from the dreaming roll
Towards the nature to behold,
When wishper climbing over my heart fences
Which thrilled my auditory senses.
When the sea waves move apart
How great was that beautiful art,
Whisper reaching to my soul
I saw that reality worldโ€™s hole.

Slowly and calmly, dreaming intensity did peterout
When birds emerged from refuge, to fly about,
Their outstretched wings did glare
As they whirled in air.
They sang beautiful song
And shared happy faces and head their way long,
As rain wash, sun peeped
 Behind the clouds they heaped.
