          MY INDIA, MY PRIDE.

One of the best gifts of Almighty to me,

Was that I was born in India, which was already free,

From the threshold of slavery of British, you see,

Enjoying every instance of my life with intense glee.

India is a marvellous country with diverse cultures,

With many different people, speaking diverse languages and unlike features,

Divided into numerous states and each is having its unique traditions,

People who have different looks and accents to speak in their regions.

Though we have so many diversities,

Yet we are united together by our love for the land even in adversities,

Though we have different religions, and we hail from opposing fraternities,

Yet, we love and respect each other’s societies.

The beauty of this land is mesmerizing,

From tall mountains, seas, rivers, oceans, and plains spreading,

The soil of this land also varies from red, black, white, and yellow scattering,

From forests to deserts, snow to sand, everywhere acquiring.

Nowhere can you find so many educational universities,

Nowhere can you find so many delicious dishes,

Nowhere can you find so many extremes, from poverty to riches,

Nowhere can you find so many people loving, caring, and respecting.

I am a proud INDIAN, and I love my COUNTRY.
