Winter Holy Night

It all happened with a simple beginning,

No one ever expected what is happening;

In that darkness and cold night,

Suddenly a Star showed up so bright.

It was a small hut with animals staying,

Where Jesus Christ was born, our King;

Angels from above singing and rejoicing,

Glory to the Newly born King.

From that day, a new era in history,

Which marked the epoch as BC and AD;

That the birth of Emmanuel is not only for you and me,

But Christmas is for all humanity.

Hence, Christmas is celebrated once a year,

In all countries, cultures, which is so rare;

Coz it is not so much of religion but charity,

It's a time of blessings, loving, grace and piety,

Bringing people together as one family,

Even the rich, the poor, the lonely.
