Destination



Destination is Perseverance 
 There was once a man named James who worked as a peon in one of the well-known offices in his town. James came from a poor family and when his father had passed away, a burden came upon James to provide for his younger siblings as his mother too had passed away when James was just 7 years old. 

James then had to drop out of school and with the help of his father's close friend, he secured a job working as a peon. James was a very faithful and hardworking peon and was loved and adored by his superiors, James was also a God-fearing person and had great faith. A colleague became jealous of him because of the way James was treated and praised by his superiors. 

One day, this colleague tampered with James boss's printer. He got hold of the boss office key and carefully kept it back in the boss bag. James was the only person who had a spare key to the boss' office. James was then called to the boss' office and after a few moments, the colleague found out that the boss didn't fire James and instead James was given a promotion as an accountant. 

The colleague was confused and asked James what had happened. James replied that, although he had nothing to do with the tampering of the printer, he gladly apologised to the boss and the boss forgave him and gave him a promotion. The colleague was furious and a few minutes later, he was called into the boss' office. The boss told the colleague of James that he knew that he was the one who tampered with the printer as he had seen him put the office key in the boss' bag James was also called into the boss office and permitted James to fire the colleague. 

The colleague knew his fate and told James that he would go and start packing his things. James, however, stopped him and told him that he should pack his things and take them to James' office as he would make the colleague his assistant. The colleague was surprised at the act of mercy shown unto him. James then told him, "God bless you," From that day, the college became a better man and started going to church with James. 

James believed that God had a plan for him and had faith that no obstacles would prevent you and me from reaching our  Destination because perseverance is the key to destination in whatever field we are undertaking.
