She was an ordinary woman

With an extraordinary will

She was a pious soul

Who stood by the side; fearlessly

She was never a warrior

Who fought with words and weapons

She was a healer

Who provided medicines to the sick

She was a leader

Who inspired a million ladies around the globe.

She was firm

As the mighty mountains

She was calm

As the gentle sea

She was loved

By all her citizens

She was praised

By the whole world

Still she stood

With a motherly smile

Taking care of

Her people alike

She was an ordinary woman

With a golden heart

Who stood by us

To fight the “rise”.
