Is Sucess depends on Money and Power?

Is Success depends on Money and Power?

Success does not depend on money or power but on how one is faithful to one's duties. Money and power have changed the world's history. The combination of both has made colonialism possible. The British Raj in India has been successful in India thanks to money and power. But this quest for success has also inflicted and caused havoc with its power. This is not true success.

As the great English writer, Samuel Johnson says "Great works are dependent on perseverance and faithful", so we can set out from this wise man's quote to define faithfulness in our duties. What does it mean to be faithful in our duties?

Being consistent in fulfilling our duties and obligation is difficult primarily because of the failure that we may encounter. Winston Churchill said "Success is going from one failure to another without the loss of our duties, also means being enthusiastic and making our vacation a vacation. Winners are people who have learnt to overcome problems."

Putting a good fight against the challenges we have will not make us lose enthusiasm but we will learn to thrive in those difficult situations.

Success comes to those who dare to act but rarely comes to those who are timid and fearful. The freedom fighters of our country were successful to gain independence because they had learnt to be our genius and fearless. Being faithful to our duties is a calling for us to become enthusiastic, overcome problems and be fearless. All these qualities make a person an expert in any field he or she is.

According to Daniel Kahneman, a Nobel Memorial Prize Winner in Economic Science, one of the factors that make a person an expert is the hour of practice that he takes to perfect his skills. Surely, when one is enthusiastic about his duty, he will indulge in hours of practice. This factor, i.e. becoming an expert will determine being successful. The philosophy idea of determinism is that it uses coercion? to force some favourable result. So all the skills that are at the foundation of being faithful to our duties will determine true success.
