WAR VS PEACE

Human beings are the superior creation of the Almighty,

They are blessed with emotions, power, and high intellectuality,

Though he is less in strength than many animals, he can rule them bravely,

Though he cannot fly, he has reached the far-off universe, fearlessly.

But this intelligence should be used for the development of mankind,

It should be used to make life easy and for peace to trend,

If this intelligence is used for greed, hatred, and jealousy, my friend,

Then no one can save this land from devastation, and no one can mend it.

We are on this earth for a period very short,

Then why should anger and lust rule us to waste it and to drive us mad,

What have wars given us to date to relish and to find it smart?

Only corpses lying everywhere with kids orphans, wives widows, and everywhere people lying crumpled.

When we are all created similarly, then why does greed rule our hearts?

Do we carry anything with us to the hereafter?

Why can't we spread love, have a little tolerance, and prevail peace all over?

Does not our heart squeeze in pain at the sight of blood and tears and tear apart?

Life is short, make it sweet,

Love all and have the patience to bear others' points of view being quiet,

Bravery is in tolerating at the time of need and not in a fight,

Otherwise, human beings will wipe out from earth as dinosaurs were destroyed.
