Chapter 7 

When I opened my eyes the next morning the sun was streaming in through the open curtains that fluttered in the wind. I felt Liam tug me closer to him and I smiled to myself before looking over my shoulder at him. I looked at my hand and saw on my fingertips the same markings Lily and Lucas had on theirs. I looked at Liam's fingertips and saw his matched my own. I couldn't help the smile that formed on my lips. I loved Liam with all of my heart, soul and mind.

I felt safe in his arms. Even after five years of sleeping next to him I still wasn't used to the fact that he was still there whenever I opened my eyes. I cuddled closer to him and pressed a kiss to his bare chest and heard him groan, "I need sleep." He said opening one eye to look down at me.

I giggled before resting my chin on his chest, "I love you." I sighed softly to him and watched his eyes widen with pleasure as they always did whenever I told him.

"I love you too." He replied with a sigh as he stroked a hand up and down my arm.

"The lovebirds." Skye said in an annoying voice as he walked into the room and nonchalantly sat down at the end of the bed.

"Damn it Skye. What the fuck." Liam said pushing his cousin off the bed.

I couldn't help the laugh that bubbled out as Skye peered up at us from the floor with a fake hurt look on his face, "Your mom sent me up here. Did you really think I would walk up all those stairs if it wasn't important?" He said standing up from the floor and brushed his clothes off.

I frowned at him as I took in the suit he had on, "Why are you dressed like a penguin?"

"Like I said it's important." He said and walked back out not even cracking a smile like he usual would have.

Liam rolled his eyes before he got up and walked to the closet, "Come on." He said with a smile holding out a hand for me.

I smiled and walked over to him but instead of taking his hand I launched myself into his arms and held on as he chuckled before walking into the closet.

An hour later we walked downstairs, "Liam your mom is becoming a total bridezilla and she's not even the one getting married." Grant said as he walked by the stairs on his way to the kitchen.

I frowned before looking up at Liam, "I really don't want anything big and extravagant." I said to him as I followed behind Grant and into the kitchen. I froze in the doorway as I saw Lily sitting at the table with tons of books in front of her, her planner and a phone while her assistant sat in front of her with a cup of coffee with a worried look on her face. I turned and pushed Liam out of the kitchen and pulled him into the front yard, "Let's go to Vegas." I said looking into his golden eyes and watched with a bit of annoyance as amusement filled them.

"You serious?" He asked me cocking his head to the side and staring down at me.

I look over my shoulder at the open front door where Lily's voice traveled out before looking back at Liam, "Absolutely." I said with a nod and yelped in surprise as he picked me up in his arms and swung me around in a circle.

"What's going on?" Gabriel asked as he came out the front door and stared at us like we'd gone crazy.

"Get the car, Skye and Grant." Liam said looking over at Gabriel before swinging me in a circle again.

I laughed and wrapped my arms around him, "Get Nicola too." I said when Liam had finally set me on my feet.

"Okay..." Gabriel said with a frown before turning on his heel and walking inside. A couple minutes later we heard the car pull up in the drive way, "Come on slowpokes." Gabriel said honking the horn.

I laughed and took off towards the car with Liam right behind me, "Hey." I said breathlessly as I got in the passengers seat and Liam took the drivers seat as Gabriel moved into the back.

"Hey." Nicola said with a smile before asking, "Where are we going?"

I looked at Liam and saw the grin plastered on his face, "We're doing something spontaneous." He said and laughed.

Grant frowned, "Whatever, here's your cell." He said handing Liam his phone which he automatically opened and dialed a number, "Hi I need six tickets to Las Vegas." He said making Nicola, Grant, Gabriel and Skye's mouths drop open. We listened as he rattled off his credit card number before hanging up, "They'll be at the counter." He said before looking in the rear view mirror, "You can close your mouths now."

"Why are we going to Vegas?" Grant asked looking between Liam and me.

I looked at them and smiled, "Why do you think?"

Nicola shrugged, "Are you guys getting married?" She asked with a smile as she looked into my face before nodding in understanding, "It's something you would do." She said looking at me with a knowing look on her face.

"Wait. Seriously?" Skye asked with a large grin on his face and when I nodded he cheered, "Yes!"

I laughed at his excitement and honestly I was excited my self. Lily and Lucas couldn't stop us from doing this.
