Perturbation (Anxiety)

It’s your body's natural retort to stress

It's a feeling of fear or apprehension regarding what's to come. 


The fear which unexpectedly turns up 

When you are sitting in the dentist's clinic 


The wink you get to know 

That your board exam result is coming up 


When you are a wallflower and you get to know that

You have to put up your views in front of a gathering


When you are going 

To turn up for an interview 


Anxiety is the dizziness of freedom

It is something moving through you 

And can leave out the same door it came in.


It only needs a deep breath 

And trust yourself you have survived a lot, 

And you will stay whatever is coming.  


You are more assertive than your anxiety

So never let your apprehension kill you.
