Correct Mistakes for a Brighter Future
Shravani looked at Vanya and said to her,
"How is it possible? If my mother Vasudha asked my father Jayesh to marry her half sister Jiya then how did she end up being my mother?"
Vanya knew that the remaining part of the story was going to be too painful for Shravani.
She said to her,
"Sometimes, life becomes too complicated and no one is able to anticipate the future outcome accurately. Humans try to hide their true intentions and motives behind the mask of family responsibilities or moral duties.
People try to project their helpful nature so that they could take advantage of their generous image later on in their lives.
People like Jiya only think about their own selfish interests and ignore the feelings of others. They believe that the whole world owes them something and it is the responsibility of their family and friends to fulfill their wish and desires without even questioning them in the first place.
People like Vasudha are the selfless people who always try to fulfill their duties before fulfilling their own desires. They are always helpful but never believe in projecting themselves as the true heroes of this world.
Jiya realised after sometime that she didn't do the right thing by stealing the true love of her sister. One day, she came to see Vasudha and said to her,
"Didi, please forgive me. I wanted to experience the true love in my life but now I have understood that nothing in this life can guarantee you love and happiness forever.
We could get married to the best looking person, the richest person, the most successful or talented person in this world but if there is no attachment between the two of us, if there is no respect or trust for each other, if there is no friendship between us then such marriage is the marriage of compulsion and not the marriage of companionship.
If I was the sister-in-law of Jayesh, then he would have loved to talk to me but now he feels that I am the reason of his unhappiness and misery. I felt that being a beautiful woman is enough to get what I want in this life but now I know that being humble is the only way I could have the wisdom of the best way of living life than always having my way and being the worst person full of pride!"
Vasudha started crying after listening to the heartfelt confession of her dear sister.
She said to her,
"Please don't say such things. There is no use of digging up the past. Let's forget the past and look forward to a brighter future."
Jiya said to her,
"I have decided to correct the past by divorcing Jayesh so that he could get married to you. I have only request Didi, that I want to become a mother of your future child, if you will say, "No" to me then I will leave this place forever and I will never return to this village till the end of my life!"
